Newly built to a traditional Norfolk design Hickling Barn is situated on a seven acre playing field, close to Hickling Broad. Just two miles from the A149 near Stalham, it is easily accessible and has a large car park. The Barn opened in January and boasts more than 5,100 sq ft of indoor recreational space. The main hall is around 1,800 sq ft and is laid out as a sports area for badminton and other indoor activities. The Barn has full disabled access and fully complies with the latest requirements for Children’s clubs and activities. There is also free high speed Wi-Fi available for our visitors..

Great For Leisure - Great For Business

Hickling Barn offers state-of-the-art audio visual and IT equipment, with surround sound, DVD projector and a 15ft screen. It can seat up to 200 people for rural cinema screenings. The Barn is also ideal for conferences, business presentations and lectures, and a perfect location for weddings and parties with seating for 150 people at circular tables. There is a large, fully equipped kitchen, and two nearby pubs can provide catering in the Barn for any size party.

Play Indoors Or Outside

Hickling Barn has its own snooker room (with two full-sized tables) which can also be used as a small meeting room. There are changing rooms with showers to freshen up after a workout indoors or a game on the playing field outside. Right next to the building there is a safe, well-equipped children’s play and activity area.
